Gallery 17 Space acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country.In particular, the Boon Wurrung Peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation on whose land Gallery 17 is located. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture and pay our deepest respects to elders past, present and emerging. We recognise the creative practices that have been celebrated on country for thousands of years before colonial occupation. We aim to keep this recognition at the heart of all we do as we work towards the redistribution of what has been stolen. Sovereignty is yet to be ceded.
